Fragments focusses on a variety of considered techniques. Inspired by cultural preservation and tradition, this series evidences a recent research trip to Romania. Megan has pushed her technical knowledge by learning numerous new disciplines and taking stock of exciting opportunities within her creative subject. Here she has shown new skills ceramics, silversmithing, stitch and photography. Research into the Romanian wall-carpets have helped contextualise Megan's woven work. Here she has played with found materials whilst using up old yarns to create 3D woven walls.
