Woven Conexiuni meaning 'Woven Connections' was inpired by Megan's rooted cultural heritage with Romania. Collecting imagery from her fathers nation of origin, these woven designs are a representation of the city centre of Brasov, Romania. Using lambswool which was carefully hand dyed to colour match the old buildings that still remain, Megan has captured her surroundings and experimented with a mixed media approach. These weaves are a modern look on the traditional Romanian wall carpet.
