Nostalgia explores an experimental approach to Megan's practice. A variety of techniques have been touched upon including heat pressing, collage, 3D casting and print. These crossed disciplines are then pushing into Megan's woven work where she looks at trialling a mix of soft and hard materials. Inspired by a memorable trip to Portugal, Megan looks closely at colour, texture and material to inspire each piece. New opportunities within materiality allow Megan to explore installation and gallery settings within this series. Emotional / slow design are still embedded throughout these works with auto ethnographic methodologies explored to evidence personal experiences.
